Meet Zoe
Izumi “Zoe” Schutz, L.Ac., MAOM has a passion for helping people to live a spiritually connected, emotionally balanced, and physically thriving life. Since 2003, Zoe has helped hundreds of patients with a variety of chronic health issues, ranging from depression and anxiety to digestive disorders to PMS to chronic pain.
She was born in Japan. Zoe has always had a fascination with energy(Ki)healing, and Eastern cultures. She practiced Kendo (modern Japanese martial art of sword-fighting based on traditional Japanese swordsmanship, or kenjutsu), Sado (Japanese tea ceremony) and Ikebana (Japanese art of flower arrangement) in her teens and 20’s.
She received a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Academy of Oriental medicine in 2003. From 2003 to 2009 she served as solo apprentice to Dr. Robert Marion, who was a pioneer of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the United States.
She practices both Japanese and Chinese Acupuncture, as well as being certified in Facial Rejuvenation Treatment.
